Team MUROYA has announced its intention to participate in the Red Bull Air Race World Championship, one of the most prestigious motor races, one month prior to its season opening. The Championship is resuming after a three-year hiatus.
During a press conference, MUROYA looked back on his 2009-2010 racing season and described skills and internal development gained through his participation in the World Aerobatic Championship, the European Aerobatic Championship, and various professional activities in Japan in the past three years. He is confident that these experiences will reap strong results in the upcoming season.

MUROYA was training and making final adjustment to his airplane in the United States until immediately before the press conference. He stated that he and his plane are getting into good shape. After the press conference, he will be on his way again to a training camp and is determined to start the season in top-notch shape.
MUROYA's supporters and friends threw him a surprise party the day before the press conference, which was his forty-first birthday. Such an event simply shows how MUROYA is loved and backed by many. They all are his "team," according to MUROYA. He vows that he will compete together with these allies and live up to their expectations.
Team MUROYA is encouraged by the good wishes and expectations of its supporters and has launched on its journey to becoming best of the best, representing Japan.
